Josh - don't know if that's what Tony used but GHL makes bypasses that you use your own tips with (tipless bypasses).

Is there a solution out there like this for fabspeeds? I figure I could always weld tips in there but was hoping there was a more elegant way.

Air Kuul: your car seems to have a some of the same mods as mine (19"HRE's, bypass etc) ...great taste. Is your car in texas or china?

Danny,

I'm in McKinney, TX (25 miles north of Dallas). Send me your email and I'll send you my exhaust sound clip to compare notes.

I've been considering buying a set of the schnell tips and having one of my maintenance guys weld them to my fabspeeds but am kind of holding out/searching for a bolt in or close to bolt in alternative.

Cool vid. I know how you got the engine noise so clear during the drive-by shots, but how did you get the clear engine noise when both the camera car and 993 were in motion? Was that just sound dubbed in from a seperate recording? Or was that recorded thru a rolled up window - cause it doesn't sound like it was.

I'm trying to figure out how to best capture engine noise in a vid I'm making. Since wind noise starts to overwhelm the mic on my camera after 15-20mph, I've only been able to record clear engine noise from inside the car and then apply that soundtrack to other video footage.
