I don't think the plastic covers warp. Most likely the seals just dried out after all these years, especially if it's low mileage and sat a lot. A more expensive problem could be loose exhaust valves that cause excessive crankcase pressure and push oil past the seals.

Ethic, How could you possibly turn down an opportunity to spend 5-6-10K instead of 1 K? We may have to look into having your membership revoked! It's just diametrically opposed to everything we believe in!!
