Looked at a local dealers '96tt last weekend, the car did not have the red calipers. The Calipers were painted silver (the car is silver), is this a factory caliper, or should it have had the red calipers?

Although its always tough to know what a previous owner did on any used car, Porsche supplied red calipers on all 993 Twin Turbo's except the Turbo "S", which were yellow.

Fact is, I can get these brakes in a larger number of colors.

As part of the "Exclusive" program, you could get the calipers painted various colors as a special order option.
