ECU is not behaving. Have dealer check the stored codes in the ECU to determine cause. Assuming you do take it to the higher rpm bands by flooring pedal, 0.8 bar boost reading should be observed on almost every drive. Dealer might simply have to reset car brain or perhaps do more depending on codes. Try to ask dealer about cause so you know it is not just reset. Best of luck.

John,
I agree with Ran. Something's up. I routinely see 0.5 - 0.8, even with aggressive acceleration during city/highway driving.
Good luck - hope it's a simple fix.

Felker, agree with others - sounds like car in limp mode but when testing do not hesitate on the accelerator. ie just floor it completely and watch the boost climb. I find even momentary hesitation can mean on occasion full boost is not achieved although taking the car to the red line.

Try doing it in 3rd or 4th gear...I think sometimes you may not see full boost on lower gears because of the "gearing" and how fast you reach redline. Also makes it easier to look since you won't have to worry about a shift so quickly.
