Aparantly (I've been told), importers of grey market cars must petition the DOT and as part of that petition they must indicate what modifications are necessary to bring the car into compliance with USA regulations. These petitions are public records. If anyone in the US is interested you may want to start there.

Euro 993TT also does not have the rubber bumperettes on the front bumper. I filled and repainted the front bumper on my US 993TT to get rid of the US bumperettes.
I still have the rear rubber bumperettes though (Euro doesn't)
I also added the amber side marker and installed the ROW M030 springs on my 993TT
BTW, Euro model have the rear fog lights
