SYF

No not yet . I contacted my local body shop and they wanted nothing to do with Ruf. They had just put some Ruf body parts on a Boxster for one of their good customers and they had a hard time fitting the parts and supposedly got no help from Ruf. So I have to find another shop to do the work.

Any issues for you installing the front bumper cover?

Default RUF fit

There were no directions included, but if the body shop can take the old cover off, they should certainly know how to install the new one. We had no problem with the fittment, other than the opening for the euro lights and brake ducts was tight on one side- so we had to trim the light slightly to make it fit. (actually cracked the first one putting it in) Ruf tells you to plan on doing a dry install/fitting before painting.

wow that is really cool. how hard was it to fit etc.? That is a real ruf piece not imitation for 1800? I just ordered a eur bumper and lights. Which clear corners does it take? It appears to take the eur ones not the us since it doesn't have the bumper guards? maybe I will sell the eur one and buy that one!

Default genuine RUF

yep- Genuine RUF, came with a metal ruf identification plate/ part # rivited to the bottom. Clear corners were euro ordered from MA Shaw with the Euro Turbo S style nose- which after seeing the RUF pics, was sold as soon as I got it. Total cost of the Ruf cover 1900 plus install/paint. BTW, it needed VERY little clean up/ prep before painting.

Keith,
you guys may want to look into heat shielding at the fin cut out area.
My bumper has cracked at the fin area several times... mostly due to the high temps during track events. repainting it will only cure it temporarily.
The rear bumper is even worse due to the mufflers and heat soak.
If you're not bothered by the asthetics, then don't worry about it. otherwise, it can be a PITA
