I find the range of the door opening remote is really small, I have to be right next to the car before it works. I have replaced the battery and have a 2nd remote that behaves the same way. Does anyone know if the antenna in the car may be disconnected / damaged? Where is this located? Does anyone else have decent range on their door locking remotes? BTW. I have a 96 TT with the small remote control, separate from the key.
