Usually I'm pretty easy on my car, and my breaks are nice and quite. There have been a couple of times when I've gotten on the brakes hard, and shortly afterwards for a few braking cycles they tend to squeal like a banshee. The squealing will stop a few braking cycles later (if I take it easy).
What's going on? Am I breaking the glaze during this hard braking stops, and then perhaps the rotors are re-glazing (get quite again)?
Thanks in advance.
