Default Steering wheel replacement

Looking to replace my stock steering wheel for a 3 spokes w airbag. What are my options? If anybody did it, please post some pics.

I am considering installing the 996 Turbo steering wheel but want to make sure I looked at all the option before buying...

Thanks in advance
Pierre

There was a picture of one here a few weeks ago, but now I don't see it. It was posted by red993tt and was the leather/carbon option. Looked goooooood.

I would consider selling my stock black 996TT wheel.

Let me know.

The one that red993tt showed was definitely the 996 wheel. It's not cheap, but is available from Gert.

Thanks to the folks who responded,

Marty, please send me a PM with your asking price.

Brian, I saw it on Gert site... the one with carbon insert is not cheap. The regular leather is cheaper and is the one I'm seeking for.

Anyone, any pics of a 993TT with a 3 spoke????
Anybody knows what is required to fit a 996 wheel on a 993?? Any hub or other parts?

Cheers
Pierre

I put a 3 spoke 993 wheel on my car and it was one of the easiest bolt ons I've ever done, you shouldn't need anything other than the wheel and your bolts from your old wheel. I'm very happy with the 996 wheel it feels better than the 993 wheel and in my opinion it looks alot better also. Doug

Doug I was in Napa on Tuesday and saw a silver9 93tt cruising in the other direction, I can't remember which road but was in the afternoon heading to Napa. I was in a rental suv with wife and kids. anyway great area and some great roads, I wished I had my 993tt on that trip!

Hi Dan & Brian I live out in the Carneros area out on Edgerly Island on the river. That was probably me as I do drive my car quite often, I've put 5000 miles on it since March. I haven't seen another 993 TT in silver in Napa mine has Oregon plates. Doug

Excellent! As you can see from by signature I live both in London and Napa. The Napa house is on the western slope, between Napa and Yountville. The turbo is currently parked on a street in London. Garage ... garage ... what garage? This is London!
