in addition to the 19 inch "look" in general, I've seen at least some wheel styles available in 19 only. Not a functional reason but a reason nonetheless.

for me the 19" look a bit to big for our tiny sport cars. so i just bought a new set of the hollow spokes from the 996 tt. like them very much and i trust in the quality when driving hi-speed.
a bit ot: how do you guys store your wheels? i cant find anything to store bigger wheels > 225 tires.
