Default Help in ID'ing factory turbo tail

need some Factory Tail help please:
I'm trying to ID if a used Turbo tail I'm looking at is OEM:
Has OEM Grilles, inside, out, & OEM stops, but I can't tell if the turbo tail/decklid is OEM or aftermarket, any part number imprinted somewhere? (no pics yet)

Any advice, tight shots of the difference much appreciated.

Many thanks,

Factory has rivited metal "L"channel that is aligned with perfectly spaced rivits on the rear portion if you turn it upside down. The factory wing will fit without hassels, all other will not. (except Getty).

Thanks JJay...
Anything else? Someone has mentioned a "seam", where would this seam be?

The seam is between the bottom of the tail and the lid with the latch. There should be about 2" of lid between the tail and the tailights.

The one I'm looking at has some numbers in the middle slot inside the tail cavity under the rubber seal. looks like 512.513.00 beneath the paint. (if anyone has the heart/time to take a peek on their factory tail, I'd appreciate it.

also a number on the plate where the latch gets installed looks like 3417 (with a German looking 7 (you know, the w the dash through it) if anyone remembers seeing something like that.

I just want to ensure it's not techart or something if the seller is representing it as OEM.

I don't see an obvious metal "L channel" with rivets, but I do see a straight row of small 3/8" holes o o o o o o inside the bottom up against the back near the top/back.

man. there has to be a better way. help!

Thanks for checking 911/Q45
I owe you one!

Still not sure what/where the "L channel" is, but it's looking good.
