Question about PIWIS tester for sale.
Someone has offered to sell me a PIWIS tester that he claims to have bought at a fleamarket. He claims that he has tested it and it is in good working order.
My questions are as follows:
(1) Does the PIWIS tester function autonomously like the PST2 or does it require a T1 connection to transmit data to porsche for analysis?
(2) He claims that the tester is complete except for missing the touch screen "pens" which he claims are absolutely unnecessary.
I've always tended to avoid deals that seem "too good to be true." But i'd hate to pass up a great deal on a PIWIS.
Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.
