911/Q45 has it pretty nailed... the 993 hollow spokes are getting hard to find... for those folks that MUST have the original, turbo 1 wheels. I actually prefer the looks of the turbo-2 wheels, and they are also an inch wider in the rear. The turbo-2 wheels are much more readily available (because so many 996 TTs were built) and at a lessor price. A long winded way of saying they are worth the big bucks, but the target market is pretty small.
