Default Brake Pedal Height

Is there a way to adjust brake pedal height on a TT? Coming from my old C2, the brake pedal runs higher on the Turbo and I'm having to roll my foot over awkwardly to blip the gas on downshifts. I can do it okay in a panic (the Turbo arrives at corners a little sooner than I'm used to), but its not as comfortable as the old car. Thanks.

I don't think you can adjust the brake pedal, but you can adjust the accelerator to get the same effect.

My gas pedal has a 3/4" tall or so dummy pedal screwed into the orig pedal that makes the pedal heights perfect for blipping.

Yes you can certainly adjust the brake pedal down. Remove the wood cover and you will see that there is a threaded rod for the pedal. When you adjust it down, you will also have to readjust the brake light microswitch. This is usually the limiting factor in setting the pedal height... You should still be able to get it dwon about an inch which makes it much nicer...

Thanks for the replies and info. Viperbob, you're my hero. The car is out getting its coil overs today, so it'll need a little pedal adjustment and tire scuffing this weekend.

Porsches have wood in them???? Go figure.
