Favorite remote detectors
Does anyone have a remote mount radar in their TT? I'm having some work done on the car and thought it would be a good time to get one installed. Favorties? Prefer a dash mount?

I have the built in K40. I have a V1 that I switch between other cars. I have used the V1 and the K40 at the same time in the Porsche and except for the arrows they are pretty much equal in performance. I like the K40 because it does not have anything hung on the windshield to attract a would be thief, or you don't have the hassle of taking it down each stop, but lots of guys hard wire the V1 in their 993's. Plus once in a while I go into Va and don't have to worry about Smokey taking it.
