Default Tail of the Dragon Pictures etc.

Gang:

Well, I met my sister and brother in law in Nashville thisweekend. We went tot he Smoky Mountains to drive the "Tail of the Dragon". What is that you say? The Tail of the Dragon at Deals Gap, with 318 curves in 11 miles

The roads were wet off and on due to rain but the TT stuck like glue and the M Roadster didn't do to bad itself.

Here are some pictures:

The scenery was just amazing

The rain was not bad but made for a fun drive

Here are some action shots

Misc Pictures

You can really get into a grove with those curves after a few times and the run becomes even more fun

Tim,

Nice pictures. Your car looks great. A word of warning, however, Arena Red was one of the few cars painted with water colors, and you should never allow it to get wet!

Great photos. I wish we had some roads like that in SoCal. All our back roads are rough as a cob and awash in bicycles.

Tim, Nice pictures, Thanks for sharing!

As I was looking at your pictures, my daughther walks by and says, "Hey that looks like your Porsche, but yours is blue."

Brainstorm: Sell my Iris Blue 993tt and find an Arena Red 993tt to match my Indianoplis Red M5. I'm amazed how similar the two colors are.

I took them with my Canon Digital Rebel. My sister was driving the Roadster and John, my bro in law, was in the TT.

The car was delivered to my real home tonight. Did my first 2 home mods, Silver Crest and Black floor mats (Thanks a ton Nick)

I thought the car would be different here at altitude but it actually seems faster. Cool

Steve, you are back to the cool avatar
