Default Questions on my "New" 97

Guys:

I have a few issues with my new car and with no manual at all I need to ask here.

The Radio: Becker 210. When I adjust the c=volume up it works but when I adjust it down it skips to a channel. If you hold it down the volume goes down but still changes the channel.

Warning Lights: When I take off the EBrake the ! light down on the center lower console lights up and on the gauges along with PARK. It goes off and on at odd times while driving. DO I have a flaky sensor?

Turbo Boost Gauge: Greddy PROTech gauge. Looks cool. Have zippo info

Manuals: Best I can tell there is no downloadable version of the manual online?

Tim,

I'm sorry, I can't help you with any of those issues. But I would be interested in seeing a photo of that boost gauge. Again, Best luck with that beauty.

Tim,
Are you still in Nashville? Man I wish I had seen this thread earlier. I would have love to have met you and gone to see your new ride. Where did you buy it in Nashville? Private owner? You don't see many 993TT's here. I had to go to Philadelphia to find the one I wanted...

If you are still here, let's go to lunch tomorrow. Send me a PM and we'll hook up.

Robert

At this very Moment I am in Knoxville

We went to the "Tail of the Dragon" (Deal Gap) today. I will post pictures soon.

We are heading back to Nashville in the AM them up to Clarksville where my Sister and Brother in Law live. We have a flight to catch at 5:30 and the car is being picked up and brought to Denver.

I am not sure if lunch will work as we are busting butt all over . Funny thing is, with your list of cars we are so close with what we have had. I LOVE Imola Red (had an 00 M5 and 00 M Roadster in that color) and we had a Gaurds Red 02 C4S.

We will be back tot he Nashville area in the future. I will buy you a beer then

I believe the e-brake light stays on until you reach a certain speed...or if it is coming on/off randomly it could be that the contact clip (inside the console at the base of the brake handle) came loose........

Mark, you are correct. I figured it out yesterday. The contact had fallen loose

Tim,
If you are driving through and have time to let me see your car, call me and I'll come meet you. I am in Brentwood, TN which is only 8 miles south of dowtown. We can do lunch if you have time, but I'll come meet you even if you don't. What time are you coming through? If you don't have the time that is fine, but I would love to see another TT. My cell is 615-308-9453.

Take care and travel safely.

Robert
