Default Best Auto Transport COmpanies?

Who does the best job for a fair price?
Anyone to watch out for?
How long do these services usually take?
Thanks
Bill

Default Intercity is the best

....don't cheap out. You get what you pay for. How pissed would you be if you use a $200 cheaper transport compnay and something happened to your car?

Bill,

I have heard Fed-Ex is now in the business. Could be an option to check into - when it positively, absolutely has to be there

I agree with jasper996. You are spending big bucks on your car. You want it to arrive in pristine condition. Don't take a chance.

I used Intercity to ship my car from Boston to Blaine, Washington. They are super careful. They also are the exclusive transporter for the Carrera GT's.

If you do a search, you'll come up with some other names. I used Thomas Sunday and had a good experience. Intercity is a Rennlist sponsor, so I'd give them extra consideration if I was hiring transport today. FWIW, the biggest problem you may encounter is getting someone to pick up the car in a reasonable time. I got a car from Cleveland and no one had any trucks in the area coming out west. Took a month to get picked up.

Scott,

Can you email me your experience with DAS (not that I'm using them). As John mentioned above... Intercity is backed up most of the time and pick up time is usually 3-4 weeks. I just called DeMoise and got a call back within the hour and can meet my pick up and delivery schedules. Now... there is also a reason why Intercity is so backed up... cuz they are the best, right? DeMoise is a family owned and operate... I think I'm going to give them a try.... price is right too.

Hey Bill, I used a company called Western and they were good, remember my car came from Colorado too. I guess things went through on your PPI so thats great.

Remember you can ask for a top load if your concerned and fluid leaks from other cars above !!!

Looks like my tt is gone as well, PPI forthcoming and removal of the seats tonight.
