...noticed that TruSpeed Motors near John Wayne Airport has two 993TT S's. One is black with 23K miles, the other silver with 17.5K miles -- which I think they have had for a while. (I am not affililated with TruSpeed)

Most people would go for black on black - I'd go for the silver / red, personally.

Is it me or does that silver one look as if there has been some paint work, blending on both side doors just behind the mirrors? It seems consistant in all pictures except for the straight on shot of the drivers side. That's one reason to avoid silver cars.
