I replied to your other thread as well. This appears to be Rennlister Alain Degraeve's car (look up "adegraeve"). He hasn't posted in years, lived in Aspen. Don't know what happened to the GT3 seats and wheels, but the exterior and interior (steering wheel, CF, gauges, etc.) are the same.

Thanks! Looking at the pictures of the car and comparing them to Alain's car... They must be the same car. Now, if I can find Alain maybe I can find some history on the car.

i would want to know more about the accident it was in ... the real extent of the damage who did the repair work etc....

I saw this car as well as I am set on a 993 Turbo in Yellow. I saw the car on autotrader ran the carfax and decided I wanted a car w/o accident history, etc. The car has a lot of nice options on it though. I had a deal on a 993 Turbo in SY and Sold my C4S then the guy decided it wasn't for sale at this time. I will just wait for the right one. I also look at other color turbos but can't get myself to pull the trigger if you can pm me what your looking for and I'll keep my eye out for you.

What is the accident history on it? The guy told me it was accident free. AND he is charging a pemium fo rthe car.

Wow John, before I read your post I was going to say the same thing that I thought it was Alain's car. Last he and I spoke he was getting his ECU reporgrammed. That was a couple of years ago now. I know Alain loved that car and spent a lot on it. I never heard anything about an accident. Alain is a businessman in Aspen with a successful company he started (the TT was his first extravagant expense from his biz). You might just try doing a yellow or white pages search in Aspen and get the full story...

I looked at the car and it was definetely repainted. I couldn't detect any frame damge but the sun roof had some difficulties moving properly (not sure if that necesseraly means much). Driver door and rear panel were damaged, by the looks of it. Paint job is good though. Rear indicator lights are yellow. All in all sweet looking car but the history is concerning.

Any input appreciated since I am still considering the car if priced right.

I'll pass on this one... I want a TT very badly, but not one with such a questionable history. And, they are asking $75k... I should be able to buy a decent undamaged car for that amount of $$$.
