PSS9's
IRC
2WD with 12.5" rear superleggeria OZ's wearing 355's
short gearing option

Trying to keep weight in mid 1400's (whilst still maintaining ROAD CAR luxuries)
1. carbon fibre doors/wings/mirrors
2. delete rear seats
3. delete sound deadening materials
4.lightweight battery
5.PCCB
6.Carbon 997GT3 seats
7.OZ wheels (also prefer the look)

regards

That's an excellent spec. I also prefer the OZ Racing wheels to the usual, and heavy, RUF 19" wheel. With the PCCB brakes, try to specify the 997 turbo/GT3 spec ones as the front rotor size has been increased to a 380mm with 350mm in the back. In black, it's going to look meancing.

Best of luck

If you are looking to get pampered by excellent service, prestige, high resale , outstanding performance and top notch cosmetic fit and finish Ruf (at a price) is the obvious choice.
But if you want the latest in engine development in regards to Porsche engines with superior hp/tq rating (real world not chassis dyno) and almost bullet proof reliability than RS is the only game in town , it helps that Bosch has a open door policy for them and on some occasions act as a sponsor.

Proof ? Alzen 996tt, nobody came even close.

If anybody is interested I can dig out the original R&T shootout from the 80's where the widebody and heavy daily driver RS 930 gave Ruf's trailered Yellowbird the most serious run for its money.
