For traction, I am only counting on the Hoosiers and my LSD once I install the sequential gearbox. I just love the 2WD setup, it is so much fun.

I was hoping that you'd break into the 10's so our watercooled friends would appreciate the power that the air cooled cars can develop. Well, at least you put on a good show.

Jean, too bad you had problems. That would have been a great drag race against the ZO6. The driver is a regular on the drag races held here and knows what to do to get the best times.

Yes I was really looking forward to it unfortunately I was not able to get tech support to put it back in place, and the organisers could not let me rerun because of time pressure. If it helps, we used my AX22 on the black stage 5 996TT and we did a run to 62-125mph, I was about 1.5 seconds faster. He did the Qmile in 11.8s at 1.2 Bar, his first run ever I think. The vette did a 11.5s.

Same here. Im sure Ill come before then. The BIC is doing a great job of promoting autosport in the region. We have an event in Dubai the coming week-end, organized by the prosche Club. That should be fun. Ziad.

You did miss a great day. This Dubai event is the last of the season I undestand? I cannot get my car ready in time I think, waiting for Motorsport wheel axles to fit my new gearbox still

Hi jean you are welcome to use my TT if you wish.
Bob, speed trip started few years ago, and is now becoming one of the best run and organised event in the region. We are surely thinking about taking the event cross borders.... you never know... maybe Tampa one day.

Thanks guys. Kaza, sorry did not notice your post earlier, thanks for the offer, I cannot make it due to some other priorities. There is the track Sprint challenge in Bahrain on the 13th. as well.

Once I have the video in my hands I will try to host parts of it somewhere.

Hi Guys. I took my 993TT to the track today for the first time. What a car. Ran great, competing head to head with 996TT and GT3. Best of all, everyone notices the car, as there are very few and many of 996's....
