Default Anyone replace their CR-1 in dash cassette

with a CDR-220? Just curious on the wiring differences. Thanks

I did the CDR 210. No problems with the wires. Plug and play.

K24, did you have a CR-1 to start with? The wiring on the CDR-210 is similar to the CDR-220. There is only one connector (power) in my early 96' that will plug into the back of a 220. The speaker wire connector is different. Did you install it yourself?

Thanks Eddie, this describes exactly my problem. Most 993's have the black, red and yelow connectors under the dash to connect up to a CDR-220 and everything is perfect. My TT has 2 black connectors only, of which I can use one. The bottom connector (black) works for the power but my car does not have the red and yellow connectors???? Anyone else have this? Thanks
