Question Desperate for answers!!!

Hi.

I have got a few question for you guys.

1. Is it possible to lower the original sport seats in a 993 turbo. If so, how much can I lower them and how do I fix it?

2. Is it possible to buy a lowering set from Porsche? If so, how much is it lowering the seats, and what would I cost me?

3. What other possibilities do I have? Please ad how much it would cost and how much it would lower my seat.

I´m thankful for quick replies!

Best regards

The only way I know of [to lower factory seats] is a lot of cutting and welding. If your tall, its better as you move the seat aft, you'll gain some headroom.
For puposes of gaining helmet-headroom, I installed afteramarket one-piece seats that I bolted directly to the floor. Again, to gain all of the headroom I could. Plus to lower CG

If you haven't already got the car, hold out for one without a sunroof. That gains about 1.5" and a definitely lower center of gravity.

Speaking of sunroofs does anyone make a replacement panel for the sunroof that doesn't require body work. Sort of like a bolt in type ? Made of carbon fiber or something. Just a shot in the dark here. Andy

K.A. You can switch to GT3 seats, save weight, and at the same time use the Brey- Krause brackets that keep you pretty low.
