GT3 Seats Slider
I am looking for a pair of GT3 seat mounts and sliders for a 996. Since the GT3 seats requires different mounts and sliders for the 993tt some of you may have a pair for the 996 that you are not using. If so please let me know. Thanks ahead.

Send Mike H. an email. His name here is mkhn. I sold him sold GT3 seats for his 993TT and we yanked the sliders and mounts in order to install the Brey Krause pieces. If he doen't have any, get back to me as i may have some other customers I could check with...

NEWS FLASH - THE 996 and 993 side mounts are THE SAME - they are simply turned around 180 degrees! Outer Passenger and outer drivers side swap and the inner two swap over.

It is not that they wont won't, it is just that they are too tall. You can actually mount the seat with slider directly to a 993 mount (no mount swapping or anything). The thing is TOO high though (about 1-1/2"s taller). So the other side brakets and slider are to get the seat in the proper position for a 993.

PS. The seats I bought came with the 933 hardwares . I now wants the ability to use these seats for 996GT2 as well. Having a separate set of brackets will make much more convenient to switch them between cars.

Yes, they were the brackets and sliders that came on the seats from Porsche. They were removed (so they are still brand new never installed) as the 993TT uses completely different side brackets and sliders. If you send me a PM with your phone number, I will pass it along to Mike. He doesn't frequent Rennlist much anymore.
