Default EOBD scan - full throttle = 76%

Maybe someone can help quickly. I've just thrown my car on an EOBD scan tool and noticed that the absolute throttle position only reads up to 76%, even when operated from the engine directly.

Is this normal? Anyone got any resistance data for the throttle pot?

Cheers

Alan

Hi Alan,

I've had the very same thing happen with the cable and SW from www.obd-2.com. See https://rennlist.com/forums/993-turbo-forum/198123-throttle-cable-adjustment-and-max-tps-value.html

Must be a generic OBD2 thing then. Panic over. Thought I was down to just 300bhp for a minute, barely enough to commute to work.

I've seen the same result with my AutoEnginuity OBD-II scanner.
