Jean,
Thanks for the valuable info. I've written to Protomotive and asked to see the dyno pix. I'll keep you posted as soon as I get a reply.
It'll be great to see you on that drag strip... Hopefully the EVO 900 will be there
I'll take it easy on the day just to see what sort of timings I can get.
Khalid,
Great, looking forward to seeing you!
Best regards,
Ziad

Jean, I talked to him and he's not going to be attending.
Ziad, is there a motorsport engine mount for your car? If there is, go head and add it to your must have list. I know that on my car it makes some difference in keeping the engine from moving alot on it's stock rubber mounts.

Khalid,
Thanks! I'll drop by the garage...
Jean,
Cheers....
Guys,
Wrote to Protomotive. Jean was right about the HP limitations of the k16s. 430hp is about the limit for the stock turbos. I understand that the Protomotive entry-level upgrade will give a 20-25% increase in torque (over stock), earlier spooling and better throttle response.
I'm now investigating a hybrid upgrade to see what the difference in cost is. My ultimately objective is a RUF Turbo R conversion , so in the interim, I don't plan on spending too much but would like a power hike.. Let's see. I'll keep you all posted.
I know this is off topic, but out of interest, what would kind of Turbo would Porsche need to produce for you to (seriously) consider replacing your beloved 993tt - I'm sure you've all thought about... Do you think I should post this topic seperatly to see what everyone on the forum thinks?
Best regards,
Ziad

Ziad, keep the power where it is, at the moment. Upgrade the rest of your car and then add the horsepower. It also gives you a chance to get used to your car on the track, everytime you change something, instead of modding everything at the same time.
