No... Redline in Santa Monica is not related to Redline in Thousand Oaks. The problem here may be a case of a competant mechanic trusting the application list published by Mahle... a reputable filter manufacturer. Like I said... this is a touchy and complicated problem... the root cause may be a faulty application list by Mahle.
