Default Whose 993TT is a daily driver?

Just wondering, from the perspective of a 996 owner...is your 993TT a weekend/occasional toy or daily driver? Seems like those that are for sale have very low miles considering the vintage. If used as a DD, is it still rewarding, or punishing...considering the variety of roads and traffic conditions in which you find yourself?

Thanks, all.

IMHO:
It is a fantastic weekend warrior, occasional driver.
Not a great daily driver, 996 series of cars fit that bill better.

Mine is a daily driver. I owned a 04 C2 and an 00 Boxster S and all three were equally good daily drivers for me.

Daily driver for the last 10 years, only stress is where to park to avoid door dings.

Default Mine was until...

I bought a mercedes turbo diesel to battle the city's potholes and random asphalt patches. Still use it on longer trips. Not too practically having to idle for a minute or two just to make a grocery run.

Ditto - although did not enjoy a brief 6 month period with sprung sintered clutch

Daily driver for me during the non-salt season. Purchased in April with 23+K, just turned over 30. Loving it

Marty's feedback has no credibility now that he's downgraded his 993tt to a 996tt (Just kidding Marty)

I bought my car in January, and similar to Dfarrow, I have driven it about 5,000 this summer. She'll sleep through the winter, but be on the roads most of the summer.

Yeah, since you're on the daily driver slope, perhaps a Chevy Aveo will replace your 996tt next...?!

Just kiddin' as usual

Mine is not a daily driver at all. It's a pure weekend entertainer

How long have you had the 993TT and how would you compare the experience with that of your C2?

Wow...I bet people here marvel at your mileage but how long you've kept the same car.
