Thanks Kevin,
Sounds like I just got to have one at some point. Actually, it sounds like we all should have one at some point!

Great write up. I have had the pleasure of having an 88 911 Turbo, 91 911 Turbo, and now a 96 Twin Turbo. Each definately has it own pro's and cons. The 88 was in my mind the most sensual of the three with the curves of a woman. Also when the boost kicked it I was pressed back like nothing else. You could also toss the rear end out on a curve and power on through. The 91 was more refined with smoother lines and more modern conviences like air (The 88 had air also, it was just hard to tell) The 96 Twin Turbo is a modern car, quite and fast. I haven't pushed the envelope in it, yet but it seems to handle much, much better. It's quicker by far than the 88 and 91, but I must admit I long for getting pressed back in the seat like the garrett turbo's did on the others once they got spooled up. I may end up going back to older turbo model for the lines and getting pushed back in the seats. Although the newer cabriolet turbo definately has some nice features.. The 88 and the 91 were both redheads and the 96 is a ebony beauty. I have recently found that the reds call out to me so the 96 will be hitting the ads once I finish having a couple of scratches cleaned up so I can get another red car. Love's fickle that way. Have a great Labor Day everyone

Thanks Kevin

You have just given us the reason to owning both, 964T and 993TT.
Although I would prefer 964T and 993RS, and forget about the rest.

Great write up Kevin.
The comparison was spot on and no doubt will help to settle a lot of private debates regarding the merits of each car...I have the 993TT and I'm not letting it go for anything...unless it is a 993 Turbo S!!
