Default Euro clear turn signals

I have two new euro spec turn signal lamps in my grubby little hands, and I have started the process of installation. From what I now understand, when I pull the bumperettes, I will have a notch in the bumper that will be visible and need "repairing."

AJ USA states that this will need to be filled and painted by a body shop. Is this true? Are there other options you've used to fill the gap? I was hoping Bumper Plugs had a fix, but I don't see anything on their website.

A lot you have the clear lenses, please let me know how you finished off the bumper.

Thanks for your help.

You either need to "fill" the notches in the bumper(see https://rennlist.com/forums/993-forum/209333-if-i-remove-the-front-bumperettes-can-i-then.html) or buy European(vs. USA) version of the bumper.

You can make them yourself. Buy a Euro version, cut them to fit with a dremel and fill the edge with clear silicone. The silicone part is obvious once you cut it.
