Default Short shift installation

Does anyone have a picture of underneath their car after short shift installation. I cannot get the cover over the tunnel under the car to fit flush after modifying to accomodate the new shifter. Thanks. TRJ 96 993 TT

You have to dimple the cover to clear the lower end of the new lever. Put some chalk on the lever to mark the spot, then bang on it with the round end of a ball peen hammer until it doesn't touch in any selected gear.

I may be too late, but there is no need to dimple the plate. You have to move the shifter support shaft up to the top slot in the tunnel (go to p-car.com)...

I don't believe that will work for the awd cars.
