Stage 2 z/c: How Do they work?
Finally My car is set up properly!!!!!
Kevin's stage 2 z/c with all porting and ceramic coating
protomotive "560" program with greddy profec type "s"
low boost set at .9 bar (spikes to 1.0 briefly)
high boost set at 1.1 bar (spikes to 1.2 briefly) have not tried yet?
100 cell cats/rsr mufflers/5 bar fpr/billet diverters/etc.
first impressions: 92 octane gas from BP (no ethanaol)
Holy S*#@, this car is a f#@*+$g rocktet!!!!!!!!!!!
Finally everything has come together, Todd's program
with auxillary boost controller works very, very well with
kevin's stage 2 turbos!!! I now can hear those turbos sing
with the radio off. This car will without question show any
stock corvette or viper my tailights at any speed. I will prove
this with video and 60-130 times when time allows. I cannot
imagine this car on 1.1 bar and half tank of race gas, IT ROCKS
at .9 bar!!! I am elated!

Problem was one small plastic cap left on the solenoid of the boost controller and I believe
that this caused waste gates to open under boost and turbos could not spool up.

SPR,
the total cost is classified, I am still married afterall! and once you have the engine out you may end
up doing alot of other things not performance related, IE., upgraded oil lines to the turbos,
new plugs, wires, ignition, power steering belt, upgraded intercooler lines, clutch, etc. etc.
I think that you would spend between $10k min and $20 approx. So many variables. I hope
that helps. Another option is a kit from, I/A, Scargo, Carnewal, FVD, EVO, RUF, etc.

I am sorry, but did you do a twin plug conversion necessitating the engine removal? I am just not following why you removed the engine unless I am missing something. I would like to duplicate your setup on a budget for my father, and he is more frugal than I am!

I had several oil leaks that required engine removal (and I am **** about that), also,
it is mutch easier to do clutch, complete exhaust and everything else once engine is out.

Ah, I gotcha sounds like the dreaded valve cover leaks? Did you end up doing the gt2/ligthened flywheel and clutch upgrade? How did you drop the engine yourself, do you have a lift or access one?

Viper Bob lightweight clutch kit (gt2 pressure plate), ltwt flywheel etc.
Auto Edge in Mahtohmedi, MN (St. Paul) did 100% of work, and did a great job.
Clutch is definitely a little trickier on uphill lefthanders across traffic--otherwise
no big deal.

Great news! I am happy for you, after all the frustration. Good you did not remove the boost controller, Todd was adamant about the fact that the combo had nothing to do with the issue and that someone did not fit it properly. My guess is that you will be around 500-530 hp.
60-130s????

and possibly road america at elkart lakes, wi.
thank you to everyone!!!
