Are you going to Devek's dyno day on Saturday?

Greg- I called Devek about the dyno day. Apparently it only works on 2WD cars? They were not taking appointments for 4WD turbos.

Huh? - I saw the part where they are expecting high HP and TQ numbers and assumed they were talking about Turbos. I forget they are originally a 928 place.

I thought the Dyna-Pak was the one Dyno that is safe for 4wd. I wish the dyno manufacturers would try to be a little more original with names - they all sound the same. Oh well, I wasn't going anyway, so I guess I'm not missing anything.

Greg I will be attending dyno day at streetwerks in palo alto. http://streetwerke.com/

They have a 4wd mustang dyno. It is safe for our cars. The date has yet to be announced.

Finished the install over the weekend. I drove the car yesterday for the first time. It is amazing how much of a difference the modified K24's perform over the standard K24's. I have to relearn my driving habits. The motor pulls soooo hard and fast I have a hard time keeping up. Plan to dyno it again in the next couple of weeks. The before dyno shows the K24's running out of air at 5,200 rpms (1.1 bar). The modified ones keep pulling thru redline.

Thanks to all of you that helped me chose the best compressor.

Who's turbos are they, are you staying with 1.1, and did you change/flash your ECU for these new K24's???

The turbos were done by a reputable shop. I selected a compressor wheel that will run 1.1 to 1.2 bar with the proper flow and be very efficent. This same compressor wheel we used in a modified garrett/K16. It had a nice HP curve that peaked at 526 RWHP at 6,500 RPM. Since the compressor housings between the k16 &K24 are similar and the only difference is the turbine side I expect my results to be similar. The main difference will be more lag on the K24's.

I will be reusing the protomotive software. I has worked well so far. FWIW this is the same software the viper bob uses with his stage 4 turbos.

Both my car and the 526HP car share all of the same mods except hot side of the turbos.
