Default Another wheel ?

As always I used the search before I ask. I'm dealing w/another Rennlister and considering the purchase of some BBS LM1 wheels and welcome knowledgeable imput. I'm w/the stock 18" running S02s and the wheels are @ 8 1/2" et52 in & 10" rears et48 w/18" ofcourse. I think I can still use my S02s w/these and a spacer would be needed at rear to make up the OEM difference due to the slightly narrower width @ rear.

Any concerns w/this approach and/or my use in tracking 2-3 times year vs. the hollow spokes I currently run.

Also, the appearance is important as I do like the deep lip insets and these wheels do reflect that, although not as much as I like. Thanks in advance.

OEM tire sizes are fine. Because of the offset, you may need to run a small spacer. Also, I don't believe there is a whole lot of "lip" with the LM's. There are many wheels out there with that.

Tom,
BBS LM are very nice but why put a 10" wide wheels with minimal lip when you can get a nice 11" wide deep dish wheel and that too with no spacers.

Which wheels are these sizes? The stock ones or the LM's you're looking to get?

Viken-The size indicated are on the LMs.

YS-Good point and a that is why I mentioned the preference for a deep lip. I haven't finalized anything yet and wasn't really considering wheels, but the pricing on these looks very attractive.

Interesting. The BBS LM list of 18" wheels for Porsche does not include those.

LM 087- 18×8.0 - ET50
LM 088 - 18×9.5 - ET55
LM 099 - 18×8.5 - ET56
LM 100 - 18×10.0 - ET65
LM 174 - 18×10.0 - ET35

On your widebody, you would want to use LM 099 and LM 174

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...953265479&rd=1

Here is the listing. I looked at some other retailers and saw no listing of this size either. The seller has them listed as" LM1's" no t"LM" which is what other sites are showing. The seller has sent me several hi-res pixs, does BBS have an manf. stamp for verification thats visable. Not saying there fakes, I'm just not the familar w/wheels and the price is attractive . Could they be a discontinued style?

Thanks guys!

Tony, I stretched the 225/285's for now. I have more than 50% left on the fronts and the rears are basically new. When i need new of either fronts or rears i'll buy a new set of four. probably 235/295. They set me back a pretty penny.
Lets just say they were upwards of $3k. I've longed fro these wheels for years. Literally. I couldn't justify buying them for my 330ci. It just wasn't worthy. But the 993tt....... definitely worthy.
