dbtk,

I for one, hate to use my TT when its not going to get driven up to operating temps. Just generally a bad thing to do to any car. But, if your trip is so short that you don't heat up the turbos, than there's no need to cool them down.

I put the roof rack on the car for my bikes and in the winter I throw the ski rack on it. I love going up Loveland Pass in the car when it is dry. Nothing like 100mph up the pass. People move over plenty fast.
Oh, yeah. My favorite, though, is Aspen via Independence Pass outta Leadville. Man, what a drive in the fall.
