Default Help with center console

At the top of the center console are the six swithes. The bottom center was a blank and was used to put my K40 light. The light fell down inside and I'm trying to figure out how to get behind it to push it back up and don't want to break anything. I went to the DIY page and couldn't figure out for sure whether the center console has to be removed before you can remove the three section switchplate. Experts??

Default Switches panel

You should be able to retrieve the part from behind the switches panel by simply lifting the panel from the console. Carefully lift the panel (either top of bottom panel) up from the console carefully and you should be able to have access to whatever is behind those panesl.

Pram, thanks for the info, just didn't want to force anything...worked like a charm. Isn't this site GREAT! Thanks, Bill.
