Question Rear RoW (Euro) M030 spring part number

I am doing a suspension refresh on the car, but I cannot reliably confirm the Rear RoW (Euro) M030 spring part number. It used to be 993 333 531 16 504, but they don't sell these anymore.

Elephant Racing claims the new part is: 993 333 531 20 504, however, pelican parts does not list the Turbo under this part number, as shown here: https://www.pelicanparts.com/More_In...3353120504.htm

I know the Turbo is significantly heavier on the rear, so I was thinking it may use a different set.

Can somebody offer some clarity on this? Thanks.

My version of PET shows 993.333.351.16 is the rear spring for Turbo. It also shows both 993.333.531.11 & 993.333.531.20 for M030. So I am assuming what you were told is correct? The M030 springs are the same regardless of trim, is my understanding. Shocks may be different?

Edit: had this backwards turbo uses different springs not shocks. So Turbo should be M030 shock with a Turbo spring (red dots).

Okay, after doing more research, elephant racing is wrong and pelican parts is right. There is a distinction between turbo and non turbo for the rear springs only because the turbo weighs a significant amount more in the rear.

That doesn't make any sense. Both Elephant Racing & Pelican Parts is saying the same part number. I also identified this part number. Which part number did you find?
I think the distinction here is that all Turbo models came with M030 shocks w/ turbo springs, while lower trims used M030 shocks with M030 springs. Whether or not the part number I supplied for Turbo rear springs has superseded, I do not know. If I have time I will ask the local dealer.

993 333 531 16 504 goes to 993 333 531 25 504 Red dots, only for turbo

This is exactly the conclusion I came to as well because Pelican parts has this listed for the turbo:
https://www.pelicanparts.com/More_In...=c&SVSVSI=0657

However, I could not figure out if these are "M030" springs. I cannot confirm anywhere reliably if the Turbo ever came with an option for M030 or "standard" suspension. If there was no option, these are obviously the right ones.

So my question is: was the M030 the only factory spring available for the Turbo in RoW / Europe?

If you look in PET the shocks that are correct for M030 are also correct for Turbo, the springs have a separate option for Turbo and M030. I can also tell you that the Turbo S used RS engine mounts & some suspension parts too.

Here is a mention of adapting the M030 suspension from the Turbo SIT book from 1996. I know, it's a bad scan... did it quickly. Hope that is reliable enough for you.

Thanks for the scan. It would seem from that information that the only suspension that came with the turbo was M030 (whether it be US M030 or RoW M030). There was no "standard and softer" suspension, am I correct?

That is correct there is no soft/ stiff spring or shock options for turbo. It is an M030 shock with a turbo spring. Also note, these shocks are NLA and are replaced by the Sport Classic shocks now.
