Default Turbocharger hard plastic air intake pipe removal

Does anyone recall if the plastic turbo intake pipes are removable with the engine in the car? These are the hard plastic pipes that connect the cast aluminum Y-pipe at the front of the engine to the inlet on the turbocharger compressor housing. It's been a while since I've worked on this car and I couldn't remember if unbolting the rear suspension crossmember allows the pipes to be removed.

If what you are asking is can the plastic inlet pipes be removed without engine removal ? YES , I did a swap some years ago on the driver side for a hole in that pipe and was able to swap it out … mostly removal of heat exchanger pipes and maybe pushing an oil line but no swing arm removal if I recall …Bert

Info for anyone else wondering in the future. Yes, they do come out with the engine in. Rear suspension crossmember needs to come out to make room.
