Default brake squeal

Has anyone experienced brake squeal and how did you solve it?

The little adhesive clips that fit between the caliper pistons and the brake pads usually take care of it with a reasonable level of pad hardness. Often lazy techs will skip them when replacing the pads and you get squealing, or they try to reuse them with some type of glue. Get the new factory parts and they should be quiet.

Using the OEM pads will also reduce squeal. If you use race pads ( ie pagids, ferodo, etc ), then more squeal will result.

I agree with Jeff, I only have squeal with race pads.
