Default Anyone have GRAY interior?

Hi,

Someone has a 993 for sale with 'light gray' interior.

the photos look everywhere from blue interior to white interior, so i really can't tell what it looks like.

anyone have, or have seen the light gray interior and how does it look? does it wear well? is it closer to white or is it clearly gray?

thanks for your input.

From the 951board,

I have classic gray interior which is a "dark" gray. The color you refer to I believe is called "marble gray." I have seen it and it is very nice but appaers to get dirty fairly easily given it' light gray color. Hope this helps. Mike W

As much as it rains around new orleans, i think i might have to put in dark blue matts on top of the carpet to keep it from looking terrible all the time.

it's a dark blue exterior and dash, with this 'light gray' interior which looks anywhere from white to blue in the photos, because of a color shift which sometimes happens when you send email photos.

Like Jeff, I have Midnight Blue/Marble Gray interior. The Marble Gray is the light gray. The light seats show wear more than the dark seats. Here's one photo with flash, which makes it look almost white; and a photo with natural light which is closer to the way it looks to the eye.

The problem areas are: door panels near the speaker grills, carpet right next to the door sills (as you get in & out of the car), deadpedal area, right of the throttle pedal. And of course if you don't have floormats, that area. I have been succesful with getting most stains out with spray on carpet cleaner. I have a 2 tone interior. Black dash area/marble gray seats and carpet. I like the fact that I could put in black race seats and not have it look odd, that's of course when I actually get some.
