Under full boost I run 12.5:1. I have a digital AF gauge and its been dyno tuned with wide band. If its stock I imagine you wont have an issue unless you have turned the boost up and not compensated with a new timing and fuel map.

I had water injection on a S/C 325i many years ago.
It did the job well, but the reality was I always forgot to fill it up

Yes, it would have been good to measure the EGT's
Since we couldn't - our "fail safe" was to match the factory A/FR's

We saw 270+ kw's during the tuning process when the A/FR's were in the 11's
When I eventually change these turbos over, I will re assess it.

AF's in the 11's seem more reasoable. By the way you are living the dream with that collection of Porsches! I envy you. And you are a sheep ******** Aussie too, damn it.

Internal WG? Interesting... anyone put a Tial on? I am long term looking at a 993 turbo... just getting the vibe of them early.

Q,
Thanks for the info shared, very enlightening. Am I mistaken or the "not so shiny" one on the left is a K24? which would mean that the "nice" one is a K16 hi-flow? or are they both K24s?

The dirty turbo is the standard K16
The new turbo is the hi-flowed K24

Just to clarify one point after re-reading my post.
The K24's I have are extremely good. My dissapointment with them stems solely from the fact that I did not want ANY extra lag over the std ones.
...and I haven't been prepared to remove the cats
...or even change them for the 100 cells sitting in my workshop

I need a holiday

I did a lot of mods on my car including the K-24's and the cat bypass (chk my other post "She's finally back in my garage). Thruthfully as far as I can tell, there is no increase in the Turbo lag with the Cat bypass and the lightweight flywheel.
I am talking to Kevin about redoing my turbo's. I think it would be silly to give my K-24's to go back to my K-16's at this stage???????
I am really concerned about drivability in everyday circumstances. I am not insterested in wheel spin each time you take off at a red light. I would love to get some experience feedback from you guys.
