Not standard in the UK, in fact I've never seen a UK 993tt with original factory Litronics - I'm not sure Porsche GB offered it, they preferred important options like sunroofs and the electric everything sports seats

No, 993s with litronics do not have an adjustment **** (this was not required for the 993 by the German TÜV). Newer cars with litronics have automatic adjustments.

Mine has Litronic lights-so I suppose original owner must have specified it.
Weird to look at as well-a circular disc of light.Still they do the job.

Anyone know if they last for ever?
As obviously theres no bulbs to replace.

I must say that I could'nt believe my car didn't have litronics! Even in the manual it says it's got them. I had to take a headlight out last night and, sure enough a bulb was staring back at me.

Thanks for the post, you've made my day!
I'm going to check that it's actually got turbos tonight and not just a couple of exhaust whistles.

Rich993t,
are you certain you have the Litronics ? I know the manual says you have but......
Do the lights flicker on start up, and are they blue ?
Do you have the igniter pack ?
For about 6 years I assumed my car had Litronics 'cos the stock lights were never quite like other peoples lights, but now I have proper Xenons, the difference is obvious. And BTW there is a bulb.

mine has no expensive litronics.
but it does have the adjustment **** - never used it though.

i also thoughed that i had litronics until one headlight went dead and i took the light out just to see the standard 5 euros bulp one positive thing at least.

Light is pretty much crap, but i dont care.
With the muffler bypass those people that might not see you will for sure hear you
