Hello everyone
I am currently looking at a Forest Green Metallic 993TT with Cashmere interior to purchase and i have a couple of questions that i need your kind support in.
- The car had a re paint done to it a couple of years ago so would that effect the value a lot? even considering future value.
- I am planning to send the car to a Porsche dealer to have it checked as i am far away from the car and won't be able to see it. Are there any critical things i should look out for? the car has about 58k miles
And if there is any extra advice i would love to hear it.

Thats a fairly loaded question, depends on why it was repainted, accident? quality of repaint? original color? Need a trained eye to determine all of this before you can get a relevant answer to your question.

58k miles, 24 year old car, never going to be a museum piece, rare color, so demand for color will set value more than a respray “wart” assuming a quality paint job was done and not significant damage/repair needed. If poor job, then value will be impacted. If mechanically sound, good quality respray/repair, passes PPI, buy and enjoy. This is not an investment car. It may increase ‘ hold ‘ or decrease in value once you own it and drive it. YMWV. Enjoy your the ownership experience and instead invest in GameStop for profits...
