Guys,

I need some advice. I need to replace / reseal my lower valve covers & timing chain tensioner cover needs a re-seal per my dealer. Does anyone have an idea of what this work should cost around the LA area?

"Per your dealer"? I would suggest taking your car to an independent air-cooled garage that specializes in 911s. I'm in the LA area, and I use TLG in North Hollywood and they are a great shop. Ask Marco over there, and he should be able to answer any questions. Feel free to tell him Philip in the 993 C4S referred you. I'm not affiliated with the shop, but I'm a long time customer, as they are honest and competent.
