Hi All - trying to see if its just me, or if something up with my 993 turbo suspension. I just feel that it's beginning to show its age.
When I am not in the 993TT, I usually drive a 14 991 Turbo, or a 19 M5 comp. I expect the 991 turbo to be far superior, but I find the m5c is just so much quicker around the corners/backroads...
my 993tt suspension is Bilstein HD w/ euro m030
Anyone with newer cars experiencing the same?
Thanks

You have to remember these cars are 25 years old now and a LOT has changed since these things were state of the art. Your m5c probably has 200 more hp and a modern chassis/suspension which will undoubtedly make it trounce the 993 even though it's a sedan.

Age and I believe a lot has to do with the watered down feedback as cars get newer inspiring more confidence. In a 993 and older, the connection you feel can sometimes give you less confidence if that make sense.
How many miles on your 993TT?
Some things you could investigate:
- current alignment settings
- check all your bushings including the subframe (these are known to impact handling and general stability in cornering)
- front end would be the tie rods
- I’d also lean to say coil overs KW, PSS10s etc will be superior vs your current setup
