Hi Guys,
Picked up a new 5Bar Fuel Pressure Regulator from my Local Porsche Specialist today.
However I'm a little concerned as to its validity.
It is a std 3.8Bar bosch unit p/n 0 280 160 616
but someone has hand etched 4.8Bar and etched out the 3 in the 3.8 factory marking with a handheld etching pen.
Does anyone know if this is correct?
I understood that porsche motorsport did a genuine 5Bar FPR and that is what I thought I had ordered?, I was expecting the unit to be a bosch unit but with factory markings like the 3.8 unit.
Without plugging in a Fuel Pressure Tester I have no way of checking the pressure to make sure it's doing the job. Should I send it back or risk it.
Any advice is 'as always', warmly welcomed.
Thanks

Thanks Keith,
Thats just the information I was looking for.
Now all I have to do, is figure out how to get this beer into the computer and over to you.
Much appreciated.
