My 2 cents is this was probably proper level for a 70k mile car....actual sales at public auctions and verified recent private transactions are all that matters in valuation guides. In a slow retracting market, value guides mean little as data is too old and not updated enough.

Yes but based on my experience ie one person, they always under insured mine based on what I realistically thought it was worth and well under their value finder. My guess is this is the updating lag effect.
