Imagine you have only one choice to pick from one of them.
I am 33 yrs old and leaning to the SY and concerning how hard to sell the car when the time comes.

I'd shed no tears with either one. As much as I love Arena Red (it was an Arena Red Boxster that encouraged me to buy my first P-Car), the 993TT in Speed Yellow is as good as it gets.

I was considering a Speed Yellow 993 until I saw one in the shade... the color looks great on the sunny side but not right when in the shadows. Am I the only one who notices that the color tends to "baby-sh*t" brownish in the shade? Anyway, I obviously voted with my wallet, and went for the Arena Red. I'm delighted with my choice. As for tickets... my score is 0 for 3. I've been stopped three times for speeding in the past year, but not a single ticket. Must be that Arena Red!

Anir is right.
as a jaded old soul [ask them on the gt2/3 forum], i finally saw the truth on the words of Pete Zimmerman [remember redline service in Santa Monica?] in his book the Used 911 Story: [sic] "colour doesn't matter, condition does."
i buy alot of porsches [4 in the last year] and always go for the best, newest car at the best price and treat colour as an afterthought. Yes, i am old. and yes colour mattered more when i was young... but you will pass on great cars if you limit your colour choice...
at the same time, any black car is worth $5K less to me, as I can't keep its paint correctly.

Please allow me to amend my earlier post to add:
I've never seen any 993 in any color that I didn't like. They are all amazing, wonderful machines. I would have settled for any of about 10 different colors. Like Watt, however, I'm too fussy to really enjoy a black car.

Kim,
That sure is one ugly car in the shade.
Note to "old fart" Steve - visit ophthalmologist for retinal screening. I've heard of folks that cannot distinguish red and green, but this may the first reportable case of a yellow / brown issue.
