I have some factory cats that have been gutted - i.e., no cats. They have an extra bung for a additional sensor which I never used. Turbos definitely spool faster without cats - and I am comparing to aftermarket sport cats. Picked up in the SF Bay Area. These are large and ungainly - not shipping until I get desperate. I doubt they will pass California smog but they do not throw any codes. $800 which is what I paid for them.
